Staff Augmentation for ERP Project
Our client is a North American distributor with more than 500 locations across the U.S. and Canada. They are an industry leader with over 60 years of advanced supply chain and logistics capabilities.
The client experienced rapid growth over the years, vastly expanding their product lines. This explosive growth greatly increased their database of SKUs. After evaluating commercially available ERP systems, it became evident they needed a custom ERP system. The custom system would allow them to migrate from their outdated, yet highly customized, mainframe systems to a rich internet application.
In order to accomplish this large-scale initiative, they determined they would need to add both contract and full time software engineers to their existing team.
Doozer Software’s IT staffing division recruited a team of software engineers that allowed the client to meet the time and skill demands of the project. The contract resources included both front-end web and mainframe developers experienced in the hard-to-find technology stack.These specialized developers were employed through Doozer Software’s IT Staffing Division, but worked under the direct supervision of the client at their location.
In addition to the temporary staff augmentation, Doozer recruited software engineers who became a permanent part of the client’s team.
