We are searching for multiple Project Managers for one of our clients in Birmingham Alabama.  The PM's will be working on various projects.  One set of projects will involve writing custom web based software applications and other projects involve assisting in the implementation of a new project management methodology & SDLC process.   There could be opportunities to go full-time with our client after the projects end but these positions will start out as consulting/contract positions.

 To be successful in this position you will need experience in the following:

Apply proven project management techniques, methods and tools
Develop project timelines and schedules to ensure timely project completion.
Prepare and maintain project documentation: project plan, project charter, status reports, risk assessment plans, change requests and resource requests (Track, report and communicate issues, deliverables, action items and key project milestones.)
Facilitate and oversee the verification of scope documents, business, technical, and testing & release requirements documentation.
Provide leadership, direction and integrate activities with departments to ensure successful implementation and support.
Anticipate and identify issues that may impact deliverables and develop and implement corrective actions.
Provide purpose, direction and motivation to team, clarifies and communicates project objectives and success criteria.
Ensure key project roles and responsibilities are defined.
Ensure a positive, collaborative work environment for the team.
Manage peer-level relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalations, feedback, etc.)

Requirements:

5+ years PM experience

Experience managing software development projects
